RUNBOOK: Auth Module Deployment

Estimated Duration: 30 minutes Required Approvers: 2 (Tech Lead + Security Officer)

1. Pre-deployment (D-1)

• [ ] Review changelog and API breaking changes (CHANGELOG.md).
• [ ] Validate Staging environment with zero incidents for at least 24h.
• [ ] Send notification to teams via Slack/Email.
• [ ] Ensure database snapshot is completed.

2. Deployment (D0)

• [ ] Initiate deployment via GitHub Actions (Rolling Deployment).
• [ ] Verify status on ArgoCD / Kubernetes.
• [ ] Validate health checks (/health and /ready).
• [ ] Execute smoke tests on vital endpoints (/auth/login).

3. Post-deployment

• [ ] Monitor error spikes or login failures on Grafana/Datadog (for 30 minutes).
• [ ] Review application logs (WARNING/ERROR levels).
• [ ] Post success notification in communication channels.
